Over 23,000 voter registration stations will be open this weekend.
The IEC says it’s ready, doors will open at 8 am on Saturday and close at 5 pm.
It’s deploying brand new technology to capture and verify voter details.
There will also be additional security in hotspots.
South Africans will head to the polls on 1 November.
