KZN holds prayer service for matrics

More than 200,000 full-time and part-time candidates will sit this year’s matric exams in KwaZulu-Natal. It has been tough for these pupils, as 2021 was marred by not only COVID-19 but civil unrest as well.

Ahead of the first exam, the province has held a prayer service for them. Matric pupils say while they are ready, they have struggled to get to this point.

The education department in the province acknowledges there were several challenges to overcome. The class of 2021 will be sitting their exams from Wednesday.
