WATCH: Uncle Waffles rocks the club in Tanzania, leaves fans asking for more

Uncle Waffles is arguably the DJ of the moment, and she has been bagging gigs of late thanks to her unique style of deejaying. She rocked her fans at a club in Tanzania last night, and the visuals prove she is a force to reckon with. The trending musician’s real name is Lungelihle Zwane, and she is originally from the Kingdom of Eswatini.

The DJ’s rise to the top has not been without hiccups and hate. As Robert Greene writes in his award-winning book, The 48 Laws of Power, it is better to be talked about for the wrong reasons than to be ignored. Waffles have been winning at attracting attention at all costs.

Haters target her dressing, and some of the people who diss her claim she strips on the stage about her dressing that only covers her top and bottom. Her detractors also emphasise that she only plays Young Stunna, Kabza De Small’s hit Adiwele.

They claim she is unduly benefiting from Young Stunna’s creativity, and the owner of the song is being prejudiced.

When she burst into the scene, a video of her grabbed by one of the Major League DJs, Banele, went viral. She looked uncomfortable with Banele’s hand wrapped around her waist. A campaign to stop Uncle Waffles’ ‘exploitation’ was ensured on social media as reports surfaced that her management team was exploiting her.

The campaign grew and became too loud for Waffles’ liking, clouding her rise to the top. She poured cold water on the exploitation allegations through a statement. Sadly, she said her moment was being wasted by people who made unsubstantiated claims that she was being exploited.

Wearing a skimpy green bra, the beautiful DJ made her usual moves attracting cheers from fans. She was performing at Elements Night Club in the capital, Dar es Salaam. Her best performance was when she performed her favourite song Adiwele.

Her hand gestures blended well with the song as loud cheers could be heard from the crowd. She owns 2021.
