This year’s Oscars were certainly eventful, to say the least. Besides the whole Will & Chris saga, the award-winning musician and nominee, Beyonce Knowles-Carter graced the 94th Academy Awards with her presence.
Beyonce opened the Academy Awards performing her song Be Alive, from the critically acclaimed biopic about Serena and Venus Williams’ father, King Richard.
The performance took place at a tennis court in Compton, California, where Venus and Serena ran drills as children and pays homage to both sisters.
