Clement Othusitse Seothaeng, a former McDonald’s employee, was sentenced to ten years in prison after recording a video of himself spitting on an ice cream and using it to extort money from the restaurant.
The incident happened five years ago when Seothaeng allegedly pretended to be an angry customer and sent his employers a video of himself spitting.
Seothaeng was found guilty and given 10 years for extortion and five years by the Pretoria North magistrate’s court for malicious damage to property.
