Benedict Saul “Benni” McCarthy is a celebrated South African coach and former footballer. McCarthy is arguably the most decorated South African footballer with a cabinet full of trophies. During his illustrious career, which spanned for years, he managed to win the UEFA Champions League under Jose Mourinho whilst playing for Porto in 2003-04.
However, he has managed to play for several clubs, from Seven Stars to Whitehill Welfare. Undoubtedly, his fame came with his stint at Ajax, Porto, and Orlando Pirates.
