SA’S GLOBAL SUPERSTAR

Black Coffee for as long as we can remember, has been rubbing shoulders with the world’s A-list entertainers.

Coffee and Drake’s relationship dates back to 2017. The Canadian rapper sampled one of Coffee’s hits Superman, featuring local songstress Bucie for a song titled Get It Together. The global DJ shared his appreciation for Drake in a Twitter post and South Africa just couldn’t enough.

The 46-year-old DJ also attended the Grammy Awards in April this year at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with his eldest son Esona. He won the award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for his album Subconsciously.

Just two weeks after winning the Grammy Award, Subconsciously reached platinum status. The 12-track album which was released in February 2021 under Universal Music Group has features from the likes of Sun-El Musician, Una Rams, Tellaman, Pharrell Williams, Msaki and David Guetta.
