Malaika’s Tshedi Mholo inspires her fans, enrolls in a course in music

Following a number of celebrated personalities such as DJ Oskido, ex-Malaika singer Matshediso ‘Tshedi’ Mholo is the latest musician further her studies beyond Grade 12.

The esteemed vocalist took to Instagram and shared an inspiring post as far as her educational ambitions are concerned.

Mholo revealed that she is embarking on a short music course through the Boston City Campus in Johannesburg and the award-winning singer has definitely wowed her social media followers.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Mholo urged her followers to rally behind her and wish her the best of luck as she got back behind the desk.

“Knowledge is power! It’s never too late. Wish me luck,” she wrote.

Her followers are seriously inspired and one of the social media users, First Lady Tshepi, commented with a supportive message.

“Congratulations Ma’am! You have no idea how much you inspire me, wishing you all the best with your studies. I know you’re going to excel!” she wrote.



The popular muso has also thanked the South African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) for their role in ensuring that her dreams do come true.

Entertainment SA has also gathered that Lesedi FM and seasoned television presenter Seipati Seoke, also known as DJ Twasa has recently graduated.

The vibey character boasted about her postgraduate diploma in business management from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and disclosed that she is gunning for her master’s degree.

“I needed to fix the narrative. I think the concept that you can make it without education is true, except the numbers don’t add up. The numbers of people that make it without education as opposed to numbers that make it with education. The disparity is too glaring,” she is quoted by TimesLIVE.

In other news regarding celebs who decided to enroll for courses is music producer and singer, Oscar Mdlongwa aka Oskido, is another one who enrolled with the University of South as he pursued the enrolled at a qualification in project management.

“I like challenging myself. It’s cool for us to educate ourselves. The world is open for anyone to learn anything. There’s so much information that is accessible to us, even if you’ve got basic education. The world has become one village. If you want anything you go on the internet, you find it,” he told the publication earlier this year.
