It was confirmed by the Italian giants that Paul Pogba has been captured.This means that the former Manchester United star is heading to Juventus.
Pogba left the Red Devils last month. This was amid reports that suggested that he was unhappy with the English Premier League giants.
The club was delighted to unveil the creative midfielder to his fans. We saw this when looking at the Turin based club’s social media pages.
The 29-year-old enjoyed a highly successful first spell at Juventus. Between 2012 and 2016 was when United swooped to sign him for a then-record €105 million euros ($106 million).
“Paul is back in Turin. He left as a boy and returns as a man and a champion,” Juventus said on their website.
“But there is one thing that has not changed, the desire to write unforgettable pages of club history together once more.
“Pogba is back and we couldn’t be happier.”
It is reported that the France international went through his medical and it is believed he was offered a four-year deal.
Sport24 reports that the deal will earn him a reported eight million Euros ($8.12 million) a season plus a potential two million euros in bonuses.
He re-joins Juve after his contract with the English came to an end in June. This marked the end of a largely disappointing six years back in England.
Pogba helped the club lift the Serie A trophy in each of his four seasons at the Old Lady of Italian football and retained his love for Juve.
He was determined to end the disappointment he endured in the United Kingdom.
The Italian Serie A outfit also announced the signing of former Paris St Germain midfielder Angel Di Maria. Pogba is Juve’s second notable signing in recent days.
