Nicki Minaj took to Instagram Live before her Wireless Festival performance and accidentally led fans to believe she was pregnant.
As she was reading some of her viewer’s questions, her eyes lit up and she asked, “am I pregnant? “
Nicki then said with a chuckle, “oh I did mean to say this: I’m not fat y’all, I’m pregnant”
Fans quickly said their congratulations in the comments which led to the rapper clarifying in a British accent. Oh, wait did I say something wrong? Oh, I’m sorry, I think I said it wrong.

A second child would fit neatly into Nicki’s 10-year plan. As she told Complex during a 2012 interview, “In 2022, I’ll definitely be married and I’ll definitely have my two children. I really need a boy in my life. A baby boy. Because … I’m so attached to my little brother and I felt like that was my real son. And boys, they’re just so, I don’t know … my heart just melts when I see them.”
Nicki currently only has one child, a son with her husband Kenneth Perry, whom she married in 2019.
