Popular Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has been reportedly asked by the Nigerian police to make himself available for questioning
This comes after the singer allegedly confiscated a bus belonging to a dry cleaning company he contracted to wash his clothes
According to reports, the dry cleaner ruined N14m worth of his clothes and they reported the singer to the Police after he made his move.
The policemen at the division thereafter invited the singer for interrogation.
It is understood that the company has recovered the impounded bus from the musician.
When contacted, Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos police spokesperson, confirmed that the musician was invited for questioning.
Hundeyin said the ‘Buga’ singer has assured the police command that he would honour the invitation.
“Yes, it’s true that we invited him for questioning. He hasn’t shown up. He has been invited, we’re in touch with his lawyers and he has assured us that he would show up
The police spokesperson, however, said the singer was not directed to turn up at the command on Saturday as widely claimed.
“Nobody said he’s going to show up today (Saturday),” he added.
