Mamelodi Sundowns are one of the trending topics on social media after making a decision on one of their striker Pavol Safranko, but another announcement is on the cards.
That is credited to the fact that Kermit Erasmus is reportedly on his way out of the club after his jersey number 11 was handed to new signing Marcelo Allende.
Allende made his debut on Wednesday and scored in their 3-0 DStv Prmeiership win over Stellenbosch at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Co-coach Rulani Mokwena has decided not to commit himself to the future of the former Cape Town City star but preferred to say the club will make an announcement in due course.
Social media is now buzzing as the nippy forward has been sidelined by the reigning league champions and football lovers are urging Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates to capture the Gqeberha-born star.
“The club will give you the information on that, administrative things. I am the wrong person to ask, sorry,” said Mokwena.
“The club has not said anything and therefore everybody that is here and register for Sundowns is here. By the way, a lot of numbers have also changed, you have seen different numbers on different players, but the club will make that communication in due course.”

“Nah man! We tired of watching Eva Nga & the likes of Peprah! @orlandopirates it’s time you bring back Kermit Erasmus, we really need this guy. We can’t be watching bo Nga, who can’t even trap the ball. This is bullshit! We need a striker that is lethal ASAP!!!!”
Smanga joined the conversation:
“Dear Kaizer Chiefs to solve our current problem in goal scoring our solution is Kermit Erasmus Kermit Erasmus and Sithebe link very well @KaizerChiefs.”

“Kermit Erasmus must go back to Cape Town City, he will get more game time there. But then again, he can go anywhere as long as he avoids Kaizer Chiefs!!!”
