“Pain goes to Soweto”: Mamelodi Sundowns fans troll Soweto giants

Mamelodi Sundowns headed to Gqeberha on Wednesday night eyeing a return to winning ways after losing to SuperSport United last weekend and they were frustrated by the hosts, Chippa United.

The DStv Premiership clash held at Nelson Mandela Bay saw the Brazilians struggling to break down a stubborn Chilli Boys, only to snatch a late winner through Peter Shalulile.

Football fans are now left to react to the late winner where the Kaboyellow family feels the win is also hurting their rivals, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs supporters.

Taking a look at the co-coach’s post-match analysis, Manqoba Mngqithi, credited Daine Klate’s troops but was not happy with officiating.

“They’ve got a very strong team, we knew they were going to make our lives very difficult but we must still take the blame, for one, not taking our chances,” Mngqithi told SuperSport TV.

“Because we got very good chances first-half but some of them they never even resulted in a shot at goal, the goalkeeper must also be given credit.

“But I’m also a little bit unhappy with what our officials are doing now! How many times the goalkeeper was down? How many substitutions were made second-half?”

“Our coaches have a huge task to find ways to break our opponents this season. It’s clear that most of these teams will be parking the Bus to frustrate us. We back to the top, where we belong!”

“Shalulile scores in Eastern Cape, the pain went straight to Soweto #Sundowns #ssDiski.”
