Portable fires shots at Goya Menor:’You are a hype man not a musician, I rich pass your papa’

Following the conclusion of the prestigious Nigerian music award, portable went on Instagram live session to rant about his popularity claiming he is bigger than the Headies organizers and Goya who won the Award for ‘Best Street Artiste’.

It will be recalled that Portable was nominated in the same category as Menor, but he was disqualified from the ceremony over a threat he made to kill co-nominees in those categories and controversial claims he formed ‘One Million Boys.  ‘A notorious armed robbery gang’

The zazzu singer later apologized for the threat and quickly retracted his statement, claiming that the One Million Boys he referred to in the viral video are his fans and not any robbery group.

On Wednesday, September 7, Goya menor took to his Instagram story to reply to Portable’s comments. According to him, he cannot compare himself, who is a degree holder to someone who cannot locate their kindergarten results. He concluded by saying he has class as the ‘Street Hop holder.’

Portable, however, hit back at Menor, arguing that he is more successful in the music industry than him even “if I didn’t go to school”. He said in pidgin English

“I get glory and money pass you, my face show pass you,”

“You say wetin. Life no balance, person wey go university dey suffer, person wey no go school dey buy house and car. You no blow reach me, you dey hear me.

“I’m your boss. Na CEO I be, you’re a hype man no be musician.”
