A show promoter identified as Alaafin Washington has recounted what prompted the US embassy to deny the controversial Nigerian singer portable, a U.S visa.
According to the promoters, Portable was not able to come to the show because he was denied visa 5 times for insulting the American consular and his inability to speak English. The promoter said Portable was speaking Yoruba at the embassy which resulted in the visa denial.
This comes days after the controversial musician called him out for allegedly setting him up to have his visa application rejected. But the promoter who showed a receipt of the money Portable sent, advised him about his character, saying if he continues like that, show promoters will run from him. Alaafin also revealed that the singer denied knowing the people who accompanied him to the embassy.
