Zola 7 is back with a bang and partners with Mzansi’s mobile phone maker 

South African television presenter and musician Zola 7 has bounced back from the sidelines as he just partnered with a telecommunications company, Mobicel.

Zola, Bonginkosi Dlamini, is the new partner or ambassador of the mobile phone brand, Mobicel, and the two forces are giving away goodies heading to the festive season.

The former Zola 7 host on SABC1, Zola, headed to social media platforms to brag about his new gig with Mobicel.

Also known as ‘Guluva’, Zola says it’s always great to work with the mobile phone company, Mobicel and revealed how the partnership came about.

Zola 7 said the deal was a life changer considering what he went through over the past few years and the radio host told the media he is excited to be a part of Mobicel South Africa because he will be traveling throughout Mzansi educating people about the benefits of technology.

“I’m looking forward to being part of an exciting opportunity to empower the youth as the brand offers development opportunities for them. It wasn’t a hard decision,” he said.

“I believe in working with the poorest communities to bring change. When they approached me about this partnership, I jumped at it.”

Mobicel also echoed Zola’s sentiments and confirmed the partnership in a social media post.

“We are pleased to announce our official collaboration with @Officialzola7. Welcome aboard the Purple Train Zola. Thanks for representing @MobicelSA at A Night with Legends. Lots to come, stay tuned!”

In addition, he also announced the news to his social media followers and that the company is also giving away mobile phones.

“Hola Mzansi..guess what?! I’ve officially teamed up with @Mobicelsa and will be bringing you some game-changing news soon. Follow @mobicelsa – BIGGER news coming soon – don’t miss it #namanje,” wrote Zola 7.

In a related article on Zola 7, Entertainment SA posted that Dlamini recently gatecrashed Cassper Nyovest’s gig while performing in Rustenburg. Zola shared the video on social media and the rapper was humbled by his appearance, as he bent on his kneel.

They also performed their collaboration off Any Minute Now album, and it cheered the crowd.

“Last night I decided to gate crash @casspernyovest performance in Rustenburg. We did #Bonginkosi and the crowd went wild,” Zola wrote.
