Hot Pink Is the Colour Trend for summer 2022

According to Harper BAZAAR, Pantone predicted that 2022 would be the year of periwinkle, a soft, soothing shade reminiscent of a baby blanket. After the previous two turbulent years, we could have used a swaddling palette, but the breakout colour trend of 2022 couldn’t be further away in spirit. Fashion designers, it turns out, desired something brighter, bolder, and more energetic: hot pink.

Hot pink is and has always been in style. Flashes of the colour reappeared in force on the spring/summer 2022 runways of Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Dior, and Versace, trickling into collections available now.

We’ve compiled a list of celebrities who are rocking the vibrant colour, and let’s just say they’re ‘popping.’
