Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel, shows love to the Springboks skipper

Following their 27-13 win over England, Springboks skipper Siya Kolisi was congratulated by his wife, Rachel.

In a sweet Instagram post, Rachel said she is proud of her bubby, Siya after guiding the reigning world champions to a win at Twickenham Stadium last weekend.

In his reaction, the Cell C Sharks star, Siya, said he told his teammates to keep pushing especially after losing a man due to a red card.

Thomas Du Toit was red-carded for a shoulder charge on Luke Cowan-Dickie’s head in the 60th minute, but it didn’t materially impact the Boks, who were leading 27-6 at that point.

In another lovely post on social media, Willie le Roux’s wife Holly Claire Nicol also showed her partner some love and affection in the wake of the South Africans’ victory over the English side.

In the picture seen by Entertainment SA, Siya and Rachel can be spotted with their children, Nicolas and Keziah while the parents are sharing a kiss.

The lovely pair, Siya and Rachel, first met at a dinner party in Stellenbosch, Western Cape back in 2012.

“Proud of you @siyakolisi you’ve been immense. Two more weeks,” she wrote.

In a post-match interview carried by News24, Kolisi said having eight forwards made it a bit easier for the side.

“I told the guys that nothing changes as we must keep on working hard for one another. They already knew, so we needed to keep on working for an extra man,” he said.

“I thought having eight forwards made it a bit easier and I think it was a great call because we knew it was going to be a contest in the scrums.

“We felt cool, we knew we needed to stay out of the breakdown and left it to the guys who knew when to go in.”
