Kimberly, a young man from Ipopeng, is proof that all dreams can come true. Thebe Magugu has emerged as the face of African success, establishing himself on the international stage.
The multi-award winner has been named one of the 100 “Vogue Business” Innovators.
The digital publication recently launched the “Vogue Business” 100 Innovators, which highlights changemakers from around the world who are pushing the boundaries of what it means to be successful in the fashion and beauty industries—often from behind the scenes.
“Vogue” editors hand-picked the changemakers.
Magugu expressed gratitude for being named one of the world’s best designers.
“I am so honoured to be named one of the ‘Vogue Business’ 100 Innovators. As entrepreneurs, one day you’re in a room sketching, and when you look up, you’re steering a ship that holds precious cargo and other human lives through ever-changing conditions. Recognition like this always makes the journey less lonesome, that our trek is on the global radar.”
Magugu just released his second adidas drop, a month after launching a Dior capsule collection.
On December 10, he will host a “Pompeii Club (1969)” party in Johannesburg to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Thebe Magugu brand.
