Mzansi comedian and actress Celeste Ntuli has started 2023 on a high note after securing a new gig as she will host We Start 2023 Stronger.
Entertainment SA understands that Ntuli’s new show airs on Mzansi Magic as it debuted on Sunday.
The show is aimed at helping the viewers understand money-related matters and advising them about their finances.
The talented and award-winning said she is lucky to get the gig and she hopes to expand and fine-tune her craft as a host.
The show is expected to encourage Mzansi to harness the power of the collective by setting shared goals with family members, friends, colleagues, or even community members.
“It is January and it’s dope to start the year working. I was fortunate to get the payment from the gig and also to get the gig itself. It’s so humanitarian and I think because we were all humbled by Covid-19, we’re all starting to look at our lives differently and to of course expand my craft as a host,” Celeste tells TshisaLIVE.
Having grown up in a family consisting of eight children and parents that ran a tuck-shop business, the former Isibaya actress says money conversations have always been a norm in their home.
“I found it very interesting to have young and older people and to hear how people perceive money,” she added.
“It improved my self-introspective conversations. In the entertainment industry, you get a lump sum and get a dry season so my relationship with money can improve but I believe I know how to navigate. It’s been healthy.”
This year Celeste has big plans for the year. Aside from the show she’s planning to grace the big screen showcasing her acting skills.
Checking out a recent post, ESA reported that scammers are looking to pounce on unsuspecting locals this festive season and comedian Ntuli is a victim as her phone and WhatsApp are hacked.
The actress and entertainer, Ntuli went to her Instagram and Twitter pages to alert her followers and phone contacts that her mobile phone has been hacked by criminals.
The former Isibaya actress has warned her followers and friends not to accept requests for money because heartless criminals are using her mobile number.
