Following his divorce from Lori Harvey, Michael B. Jordan revealed during his Saturday Night Live opening monologue that he is using the dating app Raya.
Over the weekend, the actor, 35, hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time, and he was accompanied by Lil Baby, who served as the evening’s musical guest.
Jordan revealed how he “went through my very first public breakup,” during his opening monologue, referring to his divorce with Lori Harvey in June 2022 after more than a year of dating.
“Most people after a breakup are like, ‘I’m going to get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape!” he continued, referencing the upcoming boxing film he directed and stars in. “So I had to be like, ‘All right, I guess I’ll learn a new language.’ Anyway, estoy en Raya.”
SNL cast members Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Punkie Johnson then attempted to film a scene with Jordan – PEOPLE’s 2020 Sexiest Man Alive — with Nwodim, 34, wearing a bridal gown and Johnson, 37, mocking her own sexuality.
“Aren’t you gay?” Jordan asked Johnson as she flirted with him. In response, the star said, “I am. But you’re Michael B. Jordan. And I’m Punkie B. Curious. I mean, even vegans got cheat days, right?”
Jordan appeared in many skits throughout the evening, including one in which he played Jake from State Farm and another in which he played a Southwest agent in a parody of the airline.
Another scene from the show included Jordan collaborating with Bowen Yang to capture the grunts and sound effects required for fighting video games.
Lil Baby, 28, made his formal SNL debut and appeared twice throughout the programme, first singing “California Breeze,” and then later taking the stage once more to croon his track “Forever.”
Both tracks are taken from the artist’s third studio album, It’s Only Me, which was released in October 2022.
