Elon Musk beefs up security for dad in South Africa fearing kidnappers

South African-born businessman Elon Musk has beefed up security where his father, Errol, lives in Mzansi.

Musk fears his family members may be targeted by kidnappers and has increased security with more armed security guards following recent threats.

Business Insider SA has it that the 76-year-old father, Errol, told The US Sun that his son increased his own security with more armed guards.

On Wednesday Elon Musk said that people posting his live location or travel plans was “becoming a security issue.”

He also previously quipped that the $44 billion takeover of Twitter “won’t increase my life expectancy.”

Olympian Caitlyn Jenner warned Musk via a tweet on December 3, 2022, saying he must careful of becoming “public enemy number one to some very very bad people.”

Musk, who responded to Jenner that “recent events make that super clear,” said the following day on a Twitter Space he should probably “increase his security.”

It is also reported that Errol explained to the same publication that he feared for his son’s safety despite him being protected by “100 security guards.”

The Tesla CEO decided to upgrade his father’s security system at his home in South Africa by adding a high-tech camera system, electric fencing, and 24-hour armed guards, Errol Musk told the publication.

“The 76-year-old said the security upgrade was needed following four break-ins last year,” reports Business Insider.

Checking out a report on Musk, Entertainment SA posted that it doesn’t look like US rapper Kanye West will cease to make controversial statements anytime soon as he took a swipe at Elon Musk.

Kanye Ýe’ West attacked the businessman and Twitter owner, Elon Musk, saying he is half Chinese – according to The Bias News on Twitter.

However, in a cool and well-mannered response, the Tesla owner said he will take that comment or statement as a compliment.
