In the video,a woman imitates Babes Wodumo dancing at Mampintsha’s memoria: “Akuhlekisi Shame”

Several Twitter users were irritated by a video of a lady imitating Babes Wodumo during Mampitsha’s burial ceremony last week.

@kulanicool shared the video on Twitter after Babes honoured her husband’s legacy by enjoying his music during his funeral ceremony.

According to EntertainmentSA, Babes began dancing as one of Mampintsha’s songs was played, and fellow mourners got out their cameras to capture the scene.

An anonymous lady has already taken advantage of the chance to shoot a video of herself dancing to the music Ngeke while copying and dressing like Babes and clutching a doll that looks like Sponge (Babes and Mampitsha’s son).

Many South African netizens did not find the video amusing, claiming that the woman was inconsiderate and using Babes’ pain to gain attention online.

@mulaloroy responded: “This country is not real.”

@LeboKarda said: “Oh but Southaaaaaa. It’s only been day 1 of 2023 .”
