On Thursday evening, rapper and actor Jaden Smith released an Instagram clip in which he used Blxckie’s breakout smash single ‘Ye x4’, starring Nasty C, as the music.
Smith may be seen iceboarding in what looks to be a virtual environment in the film. The reel begins with the chorus ‘Ye x4’ before transitioning into the verse.
Blxckie’s platinum-selling debut album, ‘B4Now,’ featured the song as the lead single.
“Mystery School Sale Live Now. MSFTSrep.com,” Smith shared.
South Africans have flooded Smith’s comments section since the piece was published. In a blog post last month, Limited Edt outlined what Mystery School is all about: “MSFTSrep’s ‘Mystery School’ collection is a rebellion against the current state of the world, designed to educate the public and disrupt the status quo.”
“Inspired by the first mystery schools created in ancient Egypt, the Mystery School collection seeks to be a movement of information and evolving consciousness – providing the world with all the positive and insightful information possible to create unity on the earth, and trying to enlighten people on information that has been hidden from us on purpose through the ages.”
This has been a busy week for Blxckie. He uploaded a preview of an untitled new tune on Instagram a few days ago. “she tryna squeeze in da section by shakin dat booty, i said you cant even dance. @emteethehustla im ready, tap in, he captioned the photo.
Then, on Thursday, the 23-year-old was sighted in studio at AKA’s house among the likes of Yanga Chief, 031Choppa, Zadok, Manana and Emtee as the “Lemons (Lemonade)” hitmaker wraps off his forthcoming album, “Mass Country”.
