Kanye West was caught on camera seeming to toss a photographer’s phone during an altercation on his way to his daughter’s basketball game.
Kanye is spotted telling the paparazzi that he wants to meet his children without being photographed. The pap replied, “you can’t go home and see them?” Ye was seemingly confused by this response, paused, and said, “it’s called human rights,” before driving off.
In a different incident, Ye requests that a fan avoid “running up” on him; the fan seemed to misunderstand his request.
In the video, the woman can be heard saying, “You’re a celebrity!” before Kanye grabs the phone.
West stepped away from the phone and into a neighbouring SUV.
Kanye West has been named in a battery charge investigation following a phone incident.
According to TMZ, Kanye West was identified as a suspect in a violence investigation a few hours before the incident after he reportedly snatched and hurled a woman’s phone after she refused to stop filming him. West is the identified suspect in this investigation, according to a law enforcement source.
At roughly 4:30 p.m., the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department was summoned to the location and given video proof of the occurrence.
