‘Ridiculous’: Did Bonang drag Pinky Girl because she was unvaccinated?

Did Bonang open fire on her cousin Pinky Girl? Tweeps believe so following the media mogul’s outburst against non-vaccination-compliant staff.

Bonang appears to have taken a sneaky shot at her personal assistant, and many believe it is all because of her cousin Tebogo Mekgwe nicknamed Pinky Girl.

According to tweeps, the media star is upset with members of her inner circle who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19.

On Monday, January 23, Bonang announced on her Twitter account that she was seeking for a new PA. She also stated that the potential candidate must be properly immunised.

However, tweeps said the media mogul fired indirect shots at Pinky Girl instead.

She tweeted: “I need to find a new PA with a visa to join the team. Wtf is happening kante? Missing out on trips around the world because you’re unvaccinated. Ridiculous”

When one tweep reminded her that she already has a PA, Bonang replied: “…she has a visa but isn’t vaccinated!”.

However, despite speculation that Bonang was subtweeting Pinky Girl, it was previously disclosed that the two – once connected by the hip – professionally split up in 2018.

“I quit when my colleagues realised I was related to Bonang. Some started acting awkward. My female colleagues gave me a hard time,” she told Move Magazine.

“Some even called me Bonang’s handbag because I was always with her, and they said all I do is hang around her.”

Pinky Girl has now followed a career in the entertainment business as a TV presenter and DJ.

If employees refuse to get vaccinated, employers are expected to “find a reasonable resolution that accommodates all parties,” according to the South African Department of Labour.

However, it appears that getting vaccinated is part of Bonang’s new PA’s job, since they will be needed to go overseas.

When asked which country B and her PA would be travelling that would necessitate the latter’s immunisation certificate, the actress answered, “The United States of America.”
