Another South African has been recognised for her role in the arts and entertainment space and that is none other than Thembi Seete.
The singer-cum-actress has been awarded with an Africa Choice Award for Best Female Movie Star.
According to her social media post, Seete says she has finally received her accolade from Nigeria as she wrote on Instagram.
The former Boom Shaka star is delighted to receive her most recent award from the West African nation and has gushed about the trophy on her social media page.
“My award has finally arrived from Nigeria @africachoiceawards. First of all, I would like to thank God, my family, and @africachoiceawards for this recognition, I’m honoured. This award means a lot to me. Guys Guys, thank you so much for your support and for voting Enkosi,” she wrote.
Africa Choice Award is a prestigious awards show in Africa that honours TV and entertainment talent both in front of and behind the cameras, they also recognise exceptional success in the creative, fashion, and entertainment industries.

She then became a presenter and she has patented shows like; All you need is love, now she is into acting and that’s what she does full time.
Seete is popularly known for her role as Gladys on Gomora. A lot of people love how she portrays her character on the show and they can’t get enough of her acting skills.
