Rapper Sir Trill drops a bombshell on Twitter, “I’ve never seen a cent”

South African rapper Sir Trill has alleged that he is exploited in the music space and he is fed up with that.

The outspoken music maker headed to Twitter and caused havoc as he revealed that exploitation is emotionally and mentally taking its toll on him.

In a moment of reflection, he took to his Twitter timeline where he revealed he had allegedly not seen a cent for songs he worked on.

“It’s tiring and mentally damaging. So many hits and I’ve never seen a cent. I’m tired,” he tweeted.

“Thank you to everybody who genuinely supports “SIR TRILL” This will probably be my last tweet.”

The hit maker known for working on songs such as John Wick argued that he understood the implications of sharing his story.

“Never been an artist that talks much or exposes much. This will definitely be a joke to some of y’all. Which I understand. But it’s mentally damaging and exhausting. What are we working so much for?” he wrote.

Trill also said he planned to release an album this year but some people stopped him and it was set to go with the Ghost as a title.

“I should have dropped a project for y’all last year. Think about it. It didn’t make sense that I didn’t drop. Niggas were trying to stop me. You guys come 1st to me. Sir Trill is nothing without y’all,” he wrote.

“Let’s see them try to stop this project now.”

In a previous post, Entertainment SA published that Sir Trill announced how he plans to handle the proceeds made from songs he made with the late Amapiano star, Mpura.

The singer announced his debut album, Ghost, days ago and fans are highly anticipating it.

Taking to Twitter, he made it known that the late star is on the project and he won’t be splitting the royalties.

Sir Trill says he will ensure all royalties go to Mpura’s team and family.
