Without a doubt, DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai have a wonderful friendship.
Nadia is the girlfriend of Zinhle’s late baby daddy, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, also known as AKA. On Friday, February 10, the rapper was fatally murdered outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road.
As AKA began dating Nadia, many people have praised Nadia for unconditionally adoring Zinhle and AKA’s daughter Kairo Forbes. They’ve been spending time with Kairo, and it’s heartwarming to see how much she likes their child.
Zinhle raved over Nadia in the comments section after the rapper shared a photo of herself with AKA’s father Tony Forbes on Tuesday, March 28.
Nadia returned to work during the weekend, and AKA’s father attended her performance.
She posted a photo of herself smiling next to Tony on Instagram “Bragga and PapaMega. Thank you @rockets.life.”
Zinhle commented on the post and wrote “Co-Mama”
Zinhle and AKA were undoubtedly the most supportive co-parents in Celebville, never seeming to be disturbed by the negativity on social media and putting their daughter’s needs ahead of their own.
Zinhle paid homage to AKA a few weeks ago. In a long article, she stated that the prospect of Kairo questioning her father’s death hurts her heart.
“Kiernan, I am so sorry that you have been robbed of your time with your daughter, with @nadianakai, Steffan, your mom @lynnforbesza , dad, and all of us. I would give anything for Kairo to have more time with you Kiernan. The thought of her asking questions breaks me. What do I do when she misses and needs you,” she wrote.
She then asked AKA and the Almighty to keep an eye on her husband Murdah Bongz and guide him while they raise Kairo together.
“Please watch over her and plead with The Almighty to guide Bongani @murdahbongz and me as we raise our daughter.”
Zinhle recalled the last time she saw AKA and how he told her how proud he was of them for co-parenting successfully. Despite criticism, she pondered on co-parenting with him.
“The last time I saw you, you told me how proud you are of us and how well we were co-parenting, we had come a long way, and even though it challenged a lot of people in how well we co-parented. It was never about society or us, it was always about our daughter and what was best for her.
“We quickly learnt that our differences would not be a burden for our daughter, our past mistakes could not deprive our daughter of a happy childhood with love from both mom and dad. I am so glad we figured it out, it’s as if we knew you would not be around long enough. Thank you for loving her the way you did.”
