Fans of popular Afrobeat singer, Davido has stormed the streets to hold protest following his prolonged absence from the social media space.
The singer had kept radio silent online and been away from public eyes following the demise of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke who drowned in his swimming pool last year.
Davido after his performance at the FIFA world cup final held in Qatar in December revealed he would be taking a break from social media till March. However, nine days into the month he promised to make a comeback, and fans who had got tired of waiting were curious as to why he was yet to fulfill his promise.
decided to take matters into their own hands as they hit the streets protesting.
Some were seen holding placards whose inscription read: “Davido Real Goat”, and another “Baddest it’s March Already as others shout OBO we miss you Come Back Online.”
