“Igwinya”: Watch as Khanyi Mbau wows TikTok users with Disney song

One social media commentator Phil Mphela has seemingly started some war on the digital space which has seen fast food outlet Nandos getting involved.

This comes as musician singer Khanyi Mbau’s fans reflected on her past and reminisced on her song, Igwinya which caught the attention of local tweeps.

Mbau’s early days as a musician were revisited and two of her songs “Dunusa” and “Igwinya” were topping the trends on social media with people singing along to them and others doing TikTok challenges.

Over the years, Mbau has proved she can do anything in the entertainment sector as she also bagged several acting jobs and released a few songs.

After relocating to Dubai with her Zimbabwean boyfriend, Kudzai Mushonga, Mbau is living a private life other than going online to share pictures and clips on her socials.

Looking at the video TikTok, it’s no surprise that her fans rushed to the comment section when she posted a video of herself doing a duet with another TikToker and singing A Whole New World from the Disney movie Aladdin.

She sounded absolutely angelic, and some were left impressed and begged her to produce a video for her Igwinya song.

The fast food restaurant tweeted, “Khanyi Mbau will pay for her sins (crying face emoji).”
