Lori Harvey’s dating history: From Future, Michael B. Jordan, to Damson Idris

Lori Harvey, the stepdaughter of TV presenter and comedian Steve Harvey, disclosed her new relationship with Damson Idris in January, a year after her breakup with actor Michael B. Jordan.

The 26-year-old model has a history of dating popular figures, including rapper Future, hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’.

Michael B. Jordan

Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan separated in early June 2022 after dating for a year.

The couple celebrated their one-year anniversary on social media only weeks before the separation.

“It been a year crazy!!!” commented the Black Panther star, who posted multiple photos of the two on his Instagram stories. Afterwards, the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary with a romantic meal for two.

Lori opened out about her relationship with Michael in an interview with Bumble following their breakup.

She stated at the time that she was hesitant to do anything that would “compromise peace and happiness” and that she was dating “on her own terms.”

Lori revealed her relationship with Michael B. Jordan in early January 2021 with some love-up photographs on Instagram. The celebrity also posted photos of himself cuddling up to his new partner.

Lori Harvey was observed departing an aircraft with Michael B. Jordan in late November 2020 when they landed down in her hometown of Atlanta ahead of Thanksgiving.

Both Harvey and the Black Panther star were photographed exiting the plane, where a sedan was waiting to pick them up.

They were observed departing another plane together a month later, this time in Utah, ahead of New Year’s Eve.

Jordan’s dating life has stayed relatively quiet throughout the years, although Lori’s relationships have always remained in the limelight.

Future

Lori and ‘Mask Off’ rapper Future started dating rumours near the end of 2019, shortly after her breakup from Diddy.

Future praised her ‘flawlessness’ in an Instagram story and the couple celebrated the New Year together before confirming their romance the following January with a romantic getaway in Jamaica for Lori’s 23rd birthday.

Nevertheless, rumours of a break-up arose throughout the summer when the couple appeared to have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and it’s believed they split in August.

Future allegedly began dating rapper Dess Dior, while Lori is said to have begun seeing Michael B. Jordan.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Rumours began to circulate in July 2019 that Lori had been dating Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Throughout their claimed affair, the couple was photographed together multiple times in Italy, Mexico, New York City, and Atlanta.

Lori was seen with her arm around Diddy during a supper with Lori’s stepfather, Steve Harvey, on one of their holidays.

Christian Combs, Diddy’s son, even revealed details about their connection during a red carpet appearance, saying: “They are excellent. They’re just being themselves… Personal time… That is entirely up to them.”

While the couple never officially discussed their romance, it’s believed they split up around October 2019.

Justin Combs

As rumours about Lori’s relationship with Diddy began to circulate, another rumour began to go online: Lori used to date Diddy’s son, Justin Combs.

Although Lori and Diddy were making news for their 27-year age difference, other social media users started taunting Justin over his father’s new boo.

Neither Lori nor Justin have ever addressed the rumours publicly.

Trey Songz

Lori began dating R&B musician Trey Songz towards the end of 2018.

The couple was seen together on multiple occasions, including leaving a jewellery store and dancing in a bar.

They were seen on each other’s social media several times and seemed quite happy at Lori’s 22nd birthday celebrations in January 2019.

Meek Mill said Trey requested him to rewrite the lyrics to his song ‘Going Bad,’ where he spits: “I got Lori Harvey on my wishlist” which further established their connection.

Meek stated on Twitter, “That’s my dawg I take her off sometimes Trey my guy I can’t just be reckless Ya know,”  before adding, “she’s fire!”

Lori appeared to delete any traces of Trey from her Instagram, prompting the couple to breakup.

Lewis Hamilton

Lori was spotted’making out’ with F1 champion Lewis Hamilton at a party over Super Bowl weekend in 2019, only weeks after her breakup from Trey Songz.

Neither party, however, verified the rumours.

Memphis Depay

In January 2016, Lori began dating Dutch footballer Memphis Depay.

They got in engaged in June 2017 after Memphis proposed, with Lori’s stepdad Steve tweeting at the time:

“Marjorie and I are proud to announce the engagement of our youngest daughter Lori to Memphis Depay, this young man is a good one! Congrats!”

Nevertheless, the pair divorced later that year, and Lori was seen sans her engagement ring in 2018.

Lori opened her about her brief engagement to Bumble in 2022, saying, “I almost got married very young.”

She continued: “I felt like I hadn’t really experienced anything.”

Harvey explained her thoughts on her young engagement, and said that “I didn’t really know myself; I didn’t really know what I liked, what I didn’t like. I just feel like I hadn’t really experienced life.”

Damson Idris

Lori Harvey and Damson Idris announced their engagement in early 2023.

Following a date in late 2022, the couple appeared to confirm their love the following January with some cuddly Instagram stories.

“Happy Birthday Nunu,” Damson wrote beside a red love heart emoji on a photo of him kissing Lori’s cheek.

Damson, a British actor best known for his performance in Snowfall, appears to have already given his new partner a moniker.

He later commented on the couple’s burgeoning romance, saying, “it’s the topic of gossip, and the blogs want to talk about that over the work.”

When asked about the rumours, Damson stated that “couple days someone else will be dating and then they’ll leave me alone.”

Nevertheless, it was reported in March 2023 that the couple had called it quits on their love after a hectic three months.

“They were dating and it was great, but they’re no longer around each other like that,” a source allegedly told this publication.

“There’s no beef, no cheating, nothing like that. They’re just doing their own thing right no.”
