The South African music industry is still in shock following the news of Vusi Nova who was involved in a car accident over the weekend.
The artist says he is shaken but very grateful to be alive as he recovers from a harrowing accident over the weekend.
The As’phelelanga and Ndikuthandile hitmaker and his bodyguards made it out safe but the cars were badly damaged.
In a post on Instagram following the crash, Nova posted videos of the car they were in and the car they had collided with.
He says they first started in Pretoria, then had gone to Sun City to celebrate Somizi Mhlongo’s 50th birthday.
“From there I was going to another gig eVaal. When I left my friends in Sun City, at no point was I thinking it could be the last time I see them and then this accident happened on the way,” he said.
“Life is too short, the people you say you love, don’t take them for granted, whatever second, or minute you spend with them, make sure they know how you feel about them. Be vocal about your feelings, because you don’t know what might happen, just seconds from now.”
“That was a serious accident but by the grace of God myself and my bodyguard we are all ok. Just love and live, because once again, you don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow or even a minute from now. Be safe out there.”
