“Not good hubby”: Emtee denies GBV claims made by fiancé Nicole

South African rapper Emtee is topping the Twitter trends following a video of him where he is alleged to be an abuser.

The rapper born Mthembeni Ndevu is said to be abusing his fiancé, Nicole Chinsamy and this comes through a video of them arguing as it surfaced on Thursday evening.

In a twist of events, the rapper has been accused of Gender-Based Violence by Nicole who is visibly pregnant as they engage in a heated Instagram live session.

During the session, Emtee is seen having an argument with his pregnant wife Nicole, and his mother-in-law.

As the clip plays, the singer poses a question to his mother-in-law, asking what she is doing at his house – she explains that she’s there to protect her daughter from him.

The pair has two children between them, Avery and Logan, but it seems things are no longer rosy in their relationship.

“This is what he did to me. Show them what you did to me, how you beat me up on Valentine’s Day here’s the proof,” said Nicole while showing a picture of scars.

During the audio clip, Emtee is heard denying the allegations, while he prevents Nicole from showing off her phone which allegedly contains bruises she sustained from the incident.

In his swift response, the musician said: “I’m all about motivation, love, and honour. The f$$3 I look like putting my hands on a woman. On anyone for that matter.”

“He was trying to push a certain narrative against her by going live but it backfired. How he shifted the camera when the lady showed the picture, says a lot too.”

@Megafuntweets said:

“Why is the mother coming to sleep there instead of taking her daughter back home with her and filing for divorce? He can be the father to the kids they share together but he is no husband. Having money here and there doesn’t make you a good husband or father material.”
