While many people are thrilled about The Masked Singers and the new investigator’s panel. It has become clear that not everyone feels the same way about media personality Somizi Mhlongo.
Clearly, a lot of people and tweeps are fed up with Mhlongo on their television screens. Tweeps have taken to Twitter to call out and criticise Mhlongo for scheduling The Masked Singers performance.
Viewers were continually grumbling about Mhlongo judging a singing competition even when he was still a judge on Idols South Africa. Because the audience did not trust in his singing ability, he was not eligible to judge a singing competition. Because The Masked Singers is a singing competition, many have commented how much they dislike having him on the show.
Several people are also outraged by Mhlongo’s ability to keep booking jobs and securing gigs despite the fact that he is a convicted sex offender. Now, having expressed no remorse or accountability, Mhlongo continues to face public anger.
After all, Somizi did say he got a powerful ancestor when his mother died, so why is everyone shocked when he’s booked and busy?
