Global Afro-fusion artist Burna Boy won Best International Act at the 2023 BET Awards last night, marking this his third win making him the first artist to win the category for the third time, he previously won the award in 2019 and 2021.
His last BET win in this category was in 2021. The Bank on It artist was nominated against other music giants, Ayra Starr, Ella Mai, South African rapper K.O, Stormzy, Swaziland born DJ Uncle Waffles, L7nnon, Tiakola and Central Cee.
The Nigerian singer did not attend the awards, But none the less his win got his fans ecstatic. His 2022 album Love, Damini was received well and a worldwide success.
