A couple of months later after the untimely death of Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo has revealed that his last album will be released soon.
Taking to her social media platforms, the Gqom queen mentioned that the Big Nuz member had completed his album before he passed on. Under that same breath, Babes Wodumo also revealed that she would be dropping her project, where she also featured the late Big Nuz member. Mampintsha’s album is titled “Ngithethelele.”
Babes Wodumo didn’t reveal the exact dates for dropping the albums.
A couple of weeks ago, Babes was reported critically ill by the siZulu newspaper Isolezwe. The news came after she reportedly missed several gigs she was booked for, including the Durban July and Cotton Fest Durban.
Since that time though, she has addressed the daring reports that thrust her into the top trends for the wrong reasons. Her management team also revealed that she was not in the country, hence they could not return on time for the two events slated for the first weekend of July.
Her management also confirmed that she was busy working on two albums which are set to be dropped soon.
Part of the statement released by Baes Wodumo’s management reads: “[Babes Wodumo] is in great health. Maybe her silence on social media is why they are assuming she is not well. She is currently busy with two albums, her own and Mampintshas,” Babes’ sister and manager Nondumiso Simelane said.
