Billionaire Tesla founder, Elon Musk recently teased that he is considering creating a unique smartphone.
Musk is currently busy with a number of projects, which include Tesla, Space X, Twitter, and AI, but it seems like he has more of himself to give as since he recently let his Twitter followers in on his latest thoughts of expanding into the mobile phone market.
Elon has been playing around with the idea of creating his own smartphone for some time. In 2022, he mentioned that he would create an alternative cell phone in an instance that Twitter booted him from the App Store as well as the Google Play Store.
The tech entrepreneur has also been vocal about being against mobile companies that tracked user’s information. And, in a previous Tweet, he warned that “Phones are not safe”.
Now he had Twitter buzzing when he shared that he was thinking of creating a Tesla smartphone. He mentioned that the Tesla phone would be different from others in the market as it would not collect any of its user’s information.
“Tesla should create its own smartphone. Your information will never be collected. Would you use it?” he asked on Twitter.
“We are helpless and unfortunately there’s nothing we could currently do. Which is why I believe a Tesla phone would be great!” Musk added.
Not only has Elon Musk thought about how the Tesla phone would compete in the market, but he already has plans for it to lead in the industry. He said: “It would likely be comparable to Apple, but an even better product!… Tesla only creates incredible products. You know it will be top-tier.”
