Olwethu Magudumana drops assault charges against Inno Morolong

Controversial influencer and club host Inno Morolong is looking forward to putting the assault charges behind her.

Sunday World revealed that fellow club host Olwethu Magudumana dropped the assault charges she had levelled against the Diamonds and Dolls star.

It was back in May when Olwethu, who is the niece of Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s ex-husband Dr Mkhuseli Magudumana, shared graphic pictures and videos of her head, face and body covered in blood. She said those were the results of assault by Inno at the Maracana Club in Sandton.

Magudumana said: “I did not fight with her, she attacked me. I was at my table with my friends and I saw Innocentia shouting at the people she was with, the fight was about a bill she did not want to pay. I went closer because I wanted to see and properly hear what was happening and she jumped at me with a bottle, accusing me [of] filming her.”

A couple of days later, Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi who is the police spokesperson went on to confirm that an assault with grievous to bodily harm case (GBH) had been opened.

Inno reportedly revealed that Olwethu dropped the charges against her at the Alexandra magistrate’s court. “I am a free woman; I can finally go back to work,” she said.

Also confirming that she had forgiven Inno, Olwethu said she did that because Inno asked for forgiveness and showed remorse.

Inno said the charges had a terrible impact on her career because she could not get gigs.

“I am starting afresh, taking baby steps and yes; I am working on myself. I am making peace with the people that I had verbal fights with, mostly on social media, because I am determined to become a new person,” Inno said.

This not new for Inno as she was also accused of brutally assaulting a friend in a bloody fight in the club last year.
