A couple of days after he claimed that he has unreleased music with the late AKA, Cassper Nyovest was seen in a picture with his late rap rival’s dad Tony Forbes.
The “Phumakim” hitmaker hit the public by surprise when he shared the news that he had visited the family of the slain star following the latter’s death.
The two rappers, Cassper and AKA were in a well-publicised feud that lasted almost a decade. In February, Forbes was shot and killed by an unknown attacker outside a Durban restaurant.
On his Instagram account, Tony Forbes recently posted a picture revealing his unexpected visit from Cassper Nyovest.
On the post, he captioned the picture: “Respect…you came in our darkest moment. Thank you. We remember…away from the cameras. God bless”.
But that was not the end of it, because Tony cheekily teased a fight with Cassper – as his son AKA did. He added: “P.S. When you signing them papers. I told you I will take you”.
The heart-warming post was felt by Tony Forbes’s Instagram followers, who claimed that AKA was “probably smiling” at the moment.

@masa_temba: “Forbes is probably smiling right now. It’s all love over here, Uncle Tony.”
