RIP: Late Actor Bradley Olivier remembered

On Saturday the 22nd of July, close friends and relatives came together at Silverlakes Inn Farm Hotel to bid farewell to Binnelanders actor Bradley Terence Olivier.

The late actor took his last breath on Thursday the 20th of July after being on life support for nearly a week, EWN reported. He was 36 years old. His family shared that they miss his loving and nurturing presence in their lives.

At the memorial service, Bradley Olivier’s mother, Katie Visagie broke down as she spoke about the kind of person her son was. TshisaLIVE quoted her saying: “Bradley was my everything. I could send a please call me in the wee hours of the morning and he would immediately call and ask ‘Mommy what’s wrong?… I want to thank the lord for the wonderful times we had together.”

Sheena-Kay Gouws who is Bradley’s sister, is said to have also shared a few words about her brother. “We were surely each other’s support structure. He was a person we could call any time of the day…You were my everything.” – she said.

Olivier was a seasoned actor that was well know for his paramedic role as Danny Jantjies on KykNET’s Binnelanders. According to a family statement which announced the actor’s death, Bradley Olivier passed away “peacefully” at Life Flora Hospital.

The statement revealed that even though Bradley’s life ended before his time, the time that he spent in their lives was memorable and filled with joy. He is said to have lit up every room he entered with his smile, laugh, and incredible personality.
