DJ Spinall whose real name is Sodamola Oluseye Desmond was born on the 2nd of June, 1984 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He is the third child in a family of 5 children. DJ Spinall completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos (though there is no information on the names of the school).

DJ Spinall gained massive experience while growing up; he was listening to numerous Vinyl Records played by his parents. This significantly shaped his passion for music and in becoming a Disk Jockey.
DJ Spinall started his professional career in 2004 when he was working for Ray Power 100.5 FM. He grew through the ranks, became famous, and joined “Nite”, a platform that helps to promote underground talent.
Wande Coal was impressed with his work and employed him as a personal DJ. In 2014, DJ Spinall launched TheCAPMusic, a management company.
Thereafter he started signing top producers to the company including TopBoy. His new artist released a hit single “GbaGbe” in which Burna Boy was featured.
