Meet Natasha Joubert, the new Miss South Africa 2023

There is a brand-new Miss South Africa! Congratulations are in order for Natasha Joubert, the model and fashion designer who competed in the pageant for the second time this year and was named the new Miss SA 2023.

The Miss SA Finale took place at Sun International’s flagship venue, SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria on Sunday 13th August.

Joubert would be the first Miss SA to wear the brand new ‘Mowana, the Tree of Life’ crown. The crown is designed by Nungu Diamonds, owned by Ursula Pule, and her husband, Kealeboga Pule.

The new Miss SA is a BCom Marketing Management graduate and owns a Natalia Jeffery a fashion design company.

Joubert touched on her return to Miss SA stage for the second time.

“It feels surreal being back and being granted a second chance! I know this is a testimony I need to share and an incredible message: ‘You’re never a product of your circumstances, you’re a product of your choices.’ I felt incredible when I walked out of my interview knowing I wore my heart on my sleeve,” she said.  

“I want to fully take on these new challenges, grow and evolve even more as a woman, but at the same time let go and enjoy every second. Our group of finalists is fierce! I will be forever grateful for this second chance!”
