Monday, singer Lizzo found herself in hot waters after three of her former tour dancers came forward and accused her of sexual harassment and creating a hostile environment through sexual, racial and religious harassment between years 2021 and 2023, according to a lawsuit filed on Tuesday.
Lizzo who is big on body positivity and self-love, is reportedly criticized a dancer’s recent weight gain and later berated, then fired, that dancer for recording a meeting.
According to a lawsuit, Lizzo alleged forced a dancer to touch a nude performer at a club in Amsterdam, the singer allegedly “began inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas”, the suit says. Lizzo allegedly pressured Davis to touch the nude breasts of one performer and began goading her on when she refused.

On Tuesday, Sophia Nahli Allison took to her Instagram stories to share her reaction to the allegations.
“I usually do not comment on anything pop culture related,” she began. “But, in 2019, I traveled a bit with Lizzo to be the director of her documentary. I walked away after about 2 weeks. I was treated with such disrespect by her…”
“I was not protected and I was thrown into a s****y situation with little support. My spirit said to run as fast as you f*****g can and I’m so grateful I trusted my gut… This kind of abuse of power happens far too often,” Allison wrote before ending her post by sending “love and support” to the lawsuit’s plaintiffs.
