We can all agree that this year’s Rugby World Cup had South Africans on their toes, but Cheslin Kolbe seemed to be on his toes alongside all of us.
During the final few seconds countdown towards the end of the game, Cheslin Kolbe covered his face as he waited for the fate of the game after he fought a good fight for the country.
The Springboks captain, Siya Kolisi hugged Cheslin Kolbe when the referee blew the final whistle to declare that they are the World Cup winners for the fourth time.
Reports from the Mirror have it that Kolbe couldn’t watch the final minutes of South Africa’s Rugby World Cup final win over New Zealand as he feared his yellow card would cost the Springboks. Kolbe received the yellow card in the latter stages of the final game against New Zealand’s All Blacks.
Sunday October 29th also happened to be Kolbe’s 30th birthday.
