One of the upcoming coming local rappers, Scumie left Mzansi jaw dropped when she took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that she had not yet received payment for her performance at the African Throne tour.
Scumie, who was part of the line-up at the tour finale on October 28 at Mary Fitzgerald Square, claimed to have signed a contract stipulating payment within seven days of the performance, but now it has been a month and there is absolute silence.
Expressing her frustration, she referred to the Nasty C and Cassper tour as a “scam” and emphasized the need for fair compensation. Some X users questioned her decision to air grievances publicly, but Scumie clarified that she already tried that option. The comments on her posts reflect a mix of ridicule and criticism toward both her and the two rappers involved.
That Nasty C and Cassper tour is such a scam. I performed there, signed a contract saying payment will be made 7 days after performance, it’s been a month & I haven’t received anything. Idc abt it but I won’t work hard for something only for it to be undermined. Trash ppl????️
