Cardi B is breaking free, and she’s not holding back on the details. The ‘Bodak Yellow’ sensation has officially declared her independence from her relationship with Migos member Offset, and she’s spilling the tea on the real deal behind the scenes.
In a recent Instagram Live session, Cardi spilled the tea, confirming the split from Offset, her hubby and partner in parenthood. The couple have two children together, five-year-old Kulture and two-year-old Wave.
Cardi confesses she’s been riding solo for a minute but was, let’s say, a bit hesitant to shout it from the rooftops. In her own words, she’s been “afraid” or, let’s be real, maybe just unsure of how to drop the bomb. However, it seems the universe has given her a sign, and she’s seizing the moment.
“I’ve been single for a minute now, but I have been afraid to, like, not afraid—I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign. The last time I got on Live, I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn’t know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign,” she spilled.
The Grammy-winning artist isn’t mourning; she’s celebrating a new chapter. “I wanna start 2024 fresh, open. I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited.”
This revelation came after eagle-eyed fans noticed the unfollowing saga on social media and Cardi’s Instagram Stories post. In the post, she dropped truth bombs about outgrowing relationships and said, “I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”
