Kaizer Chiefs Hit with Another Setback as Key Player Hospitalized

Kaizer Chiefs’ challenging season continues with another setback as one of their key players lands in the hospital. Dillon Solomons, will not be participating in Amakhosi’s important final PSL match of the season.

Regrettably, Solomons has been hospitalized, which means he will miss the opportunity to play in what was supposed to be his homecoming match against his former team, Cape Town Spurs. Solomons confirmed his injury via Instagram, sharing his disappointment.

“Not the perfect ending to my season, but looking forward to coming back stronger. God’s timing is the best timing,” wrote the Amakhosi defender.

In the post, Solomons is seen in a hospital bed with a sling around his left arm. The specific details of his injury are still not know.

Right now, Amakhosi are fighting to secure the final MTN8 spot. They are in eighth place heading into their last game of the season, but the competition is fierce. Only two points separate them from Chippa United, who are in 12th place, making it critical for Amakhosi to avoid dropping points.
