Record-Breaking 2024 Formula One Season Shifts Gears to Monaco

The 2024 Formula One season is zooming ahead with a record 24 races, and the action is just getting started. The legendary streets of Monaco will be hosting the eighth race of the season next weekend.

The journey started off with back-to-back races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, both dominated by Red Bull’s reigning world champion, Max Verstappen. The Dutch dynamo set the pace early, leaving rivals in the dust.

However, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz shook things up in the third race when he claimed a thrilling victory at the Australian Grand Prix. Verstappen quickly reasserted his dominance with consecutive wins in Japan and China, but not before McLaren’s Lando Norris snagged his first-ever win in a sensational Miami Grand Prix.

Verstappen returned to his winning ways at Imola, securing another triumph in the most recent race. Now, all eyes are on Monaco, where the narrow, winding streets promise a gripping spectacle on Sunday, May 26th. The race will kick off at 15:00 (SA time).

In the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix, Verstappen was victorious, with Fernando Alonso in his Aston Martin taking second place and Esteban Ocon surprising everyone by finishing third in his Alpine.
