Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Set for a Comeback This Autumn!

Victoria’s Secret has officially announced the triumphant return of its iconic fashion show this autumn. After a hiatus since 2018, due to declining sales and dwindling audiences, the lingerie giant is ready to light up the runway once again.

In a glamorous video posted on Instagram, Victoria’s Secret declared, “The runway show is back this fall,” sparking excitement but leaving fans in suspense with no details about the exact date or location. And the line-up of supermodels? Still a mystery.

“We’ve read the comments and heard you,” the post proclaimed. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is BACK and will reflect who we are today, plus everything you know and love – the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment, and more.”

The announcement marks a significant comeback since the show was axed in November 2019. Critics had labelled the event as outdated and out of sync with the #MeToo movement. The show, which debuted in 1995 and captivated millions worldwide, saw its viewership plummet from nine million American viewers in 2014 to just three million in 2018.

Over the years, the runway has seen iconic supermodels like Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, and Adriana Lima strut their stuff, earning the coveted “angel” status. The spectacle also featured performances by musical powerhouses such as Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars.

Previously owned by L Brands, Victoria’s Secret spun off into a standalone company in 2021, now known as Victoria’s Secret & Co. This new entity includes its famous lingerie line, the Pink brand targeting young women, and a cosmetics and accessories division called Victoria’s Secret Beauty.
